Power Air Fryer XL

I LOOOVE fried foods. Chicken, pork chops, spring rolls, even veggies. Too bad I’m trying to lose weight and fried foods are not a part of that diet. I hadn’t fried anything for at least six months and I was having cravings. Then like a gift sent from above, I see a commercial advertising the Power Air Fryer. It almost sounded too good to be true, so  I hopped online and started doing some research. The Amazon reviews looked good enough to me so I decided to order one. Truly one of the best decisions I have ever made. I ordered mine from the company that advertises on TV although there are many other places you can order from. I chose to order directly from them because at that time they were having a special where you could also get a free Copper Chef skillet. They come in 2 different sizes- 3.4 L and 5.3 L. I have the 5.3 L because it is made for families and makes up to 6 servings at a time. You can either purchase for 3 payments of $49.99 or 1 payment of $149.97. If the company is offering any free gifts, they are only offered if you pay in the single payment.

Now here’s what I’m sure everyone is actually wondering; does it work? Absolutely!!! The day it came in the mail, I was like a kid on Christmas and opened it immediately and got ready to use it. There’s no assembly required so I was able to just take it out the box and set it on the counter. I’m one of those people that reads the directions to everything before using it, but I think for the most part I would’ve been able to figure it out without them. One good thing about the directions, is that there is a chart that explains cooking temps and times for multiple food items. It really comes in handy until you figure out how fast this thing works. My kids were home for the summer and it was lunch time so the first thing I cooked were fish sticks. I cooked them at 380 degrees for 12 minutes and they came out as if I had fried them. Not still soft like after being in the oven, but really had a crunch in half the time. The real test came a few days later when I fried chicken drummettes. I cooked them at 380 for 30 minutes and they came out perfect… with no oil at all. Since then I’ve also made fried rice, roasted veggies, fries, chicken nuggets and tons of bacon and it has all come out perfectly. There is no smell of oil while cooking which is a huge plus for me, because I hate the way it makes the house smell. Clean up is also a breeze. The pieces are dishwasher safe, but the non stick surface makes it easy just to wipe down with soap and water. The only bad things I can say about it are that the presets aren’t really accurate and there is a slight learning curve when trying to figure out cooking temps and times. It also takes up a good amount of counter space so it’s not really ideal for smaller kitchens. With that being said I would still definitely recommend this to everyone that loves fried foods.

Here is the website I ordered mine from. The current deal is buy 1 get 1 half off.
